Qualities of a Good Leader
I’m often talking to executives and organisations about #leadership and what makes a good leader. After reading & reflecting on Alastair Clarkson letter he penned to the members @nortmelbournefc, it got my grey matter intrigued again trying to understand what are the key ingredients…
Here are a few I came up with.
Bravery
Vulnerability
Courage
Integrity
Assertiveness
Empathetic
Reliability
Self Awareness
Self Belief
Loyalty
However, there is one we often miss, “HONESTY”.
Recognised as one of the greatest coaches in the @AFL to show and then to admit he had a problem speaks volumes to man Alastair Clarkson is. You cannot control a situation until you own the situation.
I continually preach to my clients that health is wealth, and this is another example of this.
